WATER SOLUBLE POWDER
Composition:
Per gram powder: 500 mg doxycycline hyclate.
Spectrum of activity:
Doxycycline is a tetracycline derivative, with bacteriostatic action against a largenumber of Grampositive and Gramnegative bacteria (like Staphylococci spp., Haemophilus influenza, E. coli, Corynebacteria, Bacillus anthracis, some Clostridia spp., Actinomyces spp., Brucella spp., Enterobacter spp., Salmonella spp., Shigella spp. and Yersinia spp.. It acts also against Mycoplasma spp., Rickettsiae and Chlamydia spp.. Absorption after oral administration of doxycycline will be good and therapeutic levels will be attained quickly and resisted for a longer period, due to a relative long-serum half-life time.
