WATER SOLUBLE POWDER
Composition:
Each gram powder contains:
200 mg Sulphadimerazine sodium
25 mg Sulphaquinoxaline sodium
25 mg Pyrimethamine
50 mg Thrimethoprim
5 mg Vit K3
15,000 i.u. Vit A
Spectrum of activity:
Sulphonamides demonstrate synergy with the dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor pyrimethamine which inhibit a later stage in folic acid synthesis. This combination acts bacteriostatic, and in many cases bactericidal against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Sulphaquinoxaline is an anticoccidial agent. Vitamin K3 and A act as essential nutritional agents.
Indications:
For the prevention and control of caecal and intestinal coccidiosis, Pullorum disease and fowl typhoid enteritis in poultry.
Contra-indications:
Birds producing eggs for human consumption.
Dosage and administration:
Orally, via the drinking water.
The general dose is 1 g/l of drinking water for 3 consecutive days.
Withdrawal time:
For meat: 14 days.
Storage:
Store closed in a cool and dry place.
Shelf life:
3 years.
