ORAL SOLUTION
Composition:
Each ml solution contains: 250 mg tilmicosin base (as phosphate)
Spectrum of activity:
Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic synthesised from tylosin. It has an antibacterial spectrum similar to tylosin with enhanced activity against Pasteurella multucida and Pasteurella Haemolytica as well as Mycoplasma spp.
Indications:
For the use in poultry, tilmicosin is indicated for the treatment and control of respiratory diseases associated with mycoplasma and other organisms susceptible to tilmicosin.
Contra-indications:
Usage in laying hens, where eggs are to be used for human consumption.
Side-effects:
No side-effects are reported when used at therapeutic doses.
Dosage and administration:
Oral administration via the drinking water to broilers, layer pullets before 16 weeks age, and turkey flocks.
General dose: 2 ml per10 Lof drinking water daily for 3 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours and prepared fresh every day.
Withdrawal time:
For meat (broilers, turkeys): 10 days.
Storage:
Store closed in a cool place.
Presentation:
Plastic bottle of 100 ml, 500 ml and1 litre.
